The Account Manager performs daily relationships with clients (large retail brands) and is the main focal point between Macarta's clients and operational team, helping the client with strategic consulting like digital marketing, advertising on the main marketplaces such as Amazon, Mercado Livre, among others. Under a deep understanding of the marketplaces, all that is possible to do regarding content and campaigns, and also about benchmarking and categories. To have success, an important activity is continuously building trust with the client by maintaining regular communication with them, as well as offering recommendations and strategic direction to develop long-term relationships.

 

What You'll Do Here:

  • Be the strategic person in building relationships with designated clients.
  • Support the team by interpreting the objectives and customer feedback and planning the work on the management platform of the operational teams (Content, Search, Programmatic Media and BI), in addition to contributing to the excellent relationship internally.
  • Analyze and understand the media planning funnel (awareness, consideration and conversion), aligned with the objective of each client.
  • Understand the needs and objectives of customers served, looking for ways to add value to their business and guide them on best practices related to the world of retail media.
  • Active relationship with marketplaces and their touchpoints, such as retail (SVS - Amazon), Ads and commercial teams.
  • Manage the customer lifecycle from acquisition to retention, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve established sales and revenue targets for assigned accounts.
  • Provide a high level of customer service, paying attention to agility, assertiveness and efficiency of needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of solutions.
  • Closely monitor account performance, analyze metrics and key performance indicators, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Be constantly updated on products, services and competition, as well as industry trends.
  • Preparing regular reports on account activity using our BI tools, Intentwise, Amazon reporting (Vendor and Seller Central), performance and outlook for senior management.
  • Daily monitoring of retail media campaigns within ad platforms (Amazon Ads, Mercado Livre Ads, Linx, Promote IQ, etc.).
  • Tell the story behind customer KPIs, confidently interpreting trends and making recommendations based on Amazon digital marketing analytics.
  • Create Asana tasks for operations teams and track those tasks.
  • Request monthly billing from customers.

 

We Need a Person With:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation, organization and relationship building skills.
  • Advanced level of English for conversation.
  • Having completed or studying higher education in Advertising, Marketing or similar areas.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, able to thrive in an autonomous work environment.
  • Previous experience with Office/G-suite package and skills in Excel/Sheets (pivot table, etc).
  • Previous experience in Online Media and its main vehicles.
  • Prior experience with Google Ads.
  • Be an analytical person and able to develop reports and insights to increase customer profitability.
  • Be analytical in the search for improvement opportunities in the internal processes of the Account Management team.

 

What We Consider as a Plus:

  • Spanish for conversation.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel/Sheets.
  • Experience with Marketplace campaigns (Amazon Ads and Mercado Libre Ads).
  • Experience with Google Shopping, Google Analytics, Meta Ads - performance KPI's.
