As a Data Engineer, You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. And will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable data pipelines, data models and data integration solutions.
What You'll Do Here:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and workflows.
- Develop and maintain data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow between various systems.
- Build and optimize data models and schemas for data storage and retrieval.
- Implement data quality and data validation procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement data solutions.
- Perform data profiling, analysis, and optimization to improve performance and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and implement best practices in the organization.
- Document the data infrastructure, including data pipelines, workflows, and data transformation processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries and data lineage documentation.
We Need a Person With:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle).
- Experience with data modeling and ETL tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data warehouse solutions.
